Rangers in the World Series

Ok, I could honestly care less about sports. PERIOD. But, I must admit that I love the Texas Rangers! I dont know if it is because it is the only sport I understand or if it is because I have memories of going to games and hearing my dad and brother talk about it my whole life. Either way, when the Rangers FINALLY made it to the World series this year, I was pumped. I even watched a game at home by myself! And, not only were they in the world series, they were playing the dreaded Yankees! Wow! That is big. So, on October 23rd, when they won a series game, all the sporting good stores opened at midnight to sell Rangers world series shirts. So, I did the only thing any good mother would do. I woke up my sleeping baby and headed to Academy with Eric. LOL. The lines were so so so so long and wrapped around the building just to get in. So, we went to Sports Authority and ended up getting right in and getting our Rangers shirts and pennants!!!! GO RANGERS!

Halloween was interesting this year! We actually had a blast, but ended up trick-or-tre ating in the busiest neighborhood in our city as which was a little scary. We had some friends over along with my mom, dad, brother and sister in law. Halloween just happened to fall on the night of the Rangers world series game which made our time out in the neighborhoods a little rushed. We all wanted to take the kids out and let them have their fun going from door to door, but at the same time, the parents were crawling out of our skin to get home to turn on the game! So, I started out taking the kids up and down our street. After that, my mom, neighbor I and I loaded up the SuVs and went over to Diamond Lock. They are suppose to have the best candy and decorations and they block off their whole neighborhood for trick-or-treaters on Halloween. The only problem is, I think we went a little too late and Igot a little scared. There were so many people and it was just nuts! So, we loaded the kids back up and went home. We finished the night watching the Rangers WIN the game, eating chili and watching the kids get hyped up on candy. The kids were adorable in their costumes. Macye was a cupcake fairy, Miley was a peacock and Mason was a bear. They were so cute and I had so much fun watching them!

Well, as you can see, I have been a little preoccupied with things and am just now blogging October! Anyways, from October to Christmas, I am super busy with pictures. I absolutely love sitting down in January and looking through all the pictures and beautiful families I have photographed. I LOVE getting Christmas cards in the mail with pictures I took on them. From Oct. -January, I did over 50 photo shoots! I had so much fun and stayed extrememly busy! Here are a few pictures of some of these amazing families!!!!

So, after hearing about Tom's shoes on tv and from other people, I decided to go get some. I needed some comfortable shoes to wear everyday and flip flops are not going work much longer as it gets cold. I had heard that the maker of these shoes give a pair of shoes to a child in need in a foreign country for every pair sold here. So, I decided that was what I wanted to do. I went to Nordstrom and tried them on...So comfortable! I bought them and now I love wearing them, not only because I dont even feel like anything is on my feet, but because I know that some little child in Argentina now has a pair of shoes that they wouldn't normally have. They aren't the cutest shoes in the world, but I love them and they are catching on with people now, so I guess we can all wear ugly shoes for a good cause, right?
